Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the use of the treatments we provide, loyalty card and gift vouchers. 

By accessing this Website and or making any purchases or booking with “The Tranquil Massage Company” you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, we are not liable for any dis-satisfaction of the service we provide.

“the Company”, "I”, “me”, “we", "us" or "our" refers to The Tranquil Massage Company. "You" and "your" refers to you, i.e. the client.

December 2021 Christmas Promotion

  • The Massage appointment for yourself must be booked in December 2021 and used by 31st January 2022.

  • The Complimentary massage is for a friend and for a 60 minute in-house treatment (Swedish, Deep Tissue, MyTranquil).

  • When booking for yourself and in order to benefit from this offer, please quote the promotional code ‘GIFT2021’ followed by your friends name and contact number.

  • The Complimentary treatment is valid until 31st January 2022.

  • Offer valid for one personal booking and a treatment for one friend.

  • Promotional code cannot be used against multiple bookings.

Cancellation Policy

  • We do not charge a fee for cancelling but out of courtesy to our therapists, we do require a 24 hour notice period so that we can reschedule your appointment and free up availability to another client.

Punctuality

  • As courtesy to other clients following your appointment, late arrivals may result in a reduction of treatment time. We will endeavour to carry out what we can within the time slot allocated and in some circumstances, we may suggest you re-book.

  • To avoid a loss in treatment time, we request that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking so the therapist can complete a consultation with you.

  • We require 15 minutes at the end of any treatment to prepare for the following client.

Pricing

  • The Company reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. See booking page for pricing information.

  • Prices vary depending on location of treatment.

Payment

  • The Company accepts cash, debit or credit card payments including American Express.

Refunds

  • We pride ourselves in providing the best quality of treatments and customer service. Should you therefore be unhappy with our services please notify us via email and we will be happy to resolve this. Please note we are unable to give refunds for treatments already carried out and paid for.

Refusal of treatments and our right to cancel

  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment if our therapists consider that a treatment is not a suitable option for an individual. In your best medical interests, we may advise that treatment is not appropriate. We will also not proceed with a procedure if we feel that your expectations exceed the results achievable.

  • For the health and safety of a mother and her unborn child, we reserve the right to refuse any treatment to pregnant women

  • Please note that we do not provide treatments for anyone aged under 18 years.

  • If a therapist is not available to carry out your treatments through circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to re-schedule the booking and in unusual circumstances we may need to cancel your booking. In the event that we cannot fulfil your appointment, we will contact you by telephone or email – where possible.

Medical Advice

Medical Conditions – If you have any of the following it is essential to tell your therapist before your treatment so we can accommodate the treatment to your individual needs.

  • Heart Condition

  • Diabetes

  • Allergies

  • Epilepsy

  • Pregnancy

  • Metal Plates / Pins / Coil

Loyalty Card

  • One Loyalty point is collected on a massage of 60min and 90 minutes  and a 120min massage will collect two loyalty points. 

  • The complimentary massage will be a 60 min Swedish, Deep tissue or a Tranquil massage only.

  • To redeem the loyalty benefit, you must notify me when booking and the card must be presented at the beginning of the massage. 

  • The Loyalty card can not be used in conjunction with other offers and promotions that we may seasonally run.

  • You can only redeem one loyalty benefit at a time i.e. you cannot book a 120 min massage and use the one complimentary massage along with the 50% off. 

  • Your loyalty benefit is transferable to a friend or family member so they can benefit from the 50% off or the 1 complimentary 60 min massage that your loyalty has accrued. We would simply require your details when they book to transfer the benefit to their account.

  • The Tranquil Massage co reserves the right to amend or withdraw the card and or scheme and exclude certain treatments at any time. 

Gift Vouchers

  • Our gift vouchers make the perfect present. They come with a card and envelope. They can be used at any time and have no expiry date.

  • You can purchase your gift vouchers when you come for your massage. The gift voucher amount must be used in full. The voucher should be treated as cash as lost vouchers will not be replaced.

Data Protection Act

  • Your contact Information will be held on our database but will not be accessible to any third parties. This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
